Shakespeares „Macbeth“
König will er werden, koste es, was es wolle. Selbst dann, wenn der Preis ein Leben ist, will Macbeth den schottischen Thron besteigen! Seine Gattin ist „partner in crime“ in dieser blutigen Tragödie; drei Hexen mischen auch noch mit. „Foul is fair and fair is foul“, so lautet einer der Schlüsselsätze: Das Schöne ist auch hässlich, das Hässliche auch schön. Mit diesem Motiv der Verkehrung verweist Shakespeare auf die Ambivalenz des menschlichen Seins, in dem das Gute und das Böse gleichermaßen angelegt sind. Dem mühsamen Prozess der Zivilisation ist es zu verdanken, dass Aggression und Gewalt nicht alltäglich sind. Wenn sie sich aber Bahn brechen, sind wir fassungslos. Mit vier Schauspielern und einer Schauspielerin begibt sich Tilman Gersch in die Psyche eine Paares, das der Versuchung der Macht erliegt und jegliche Ordnung außer Kraft setzt…
