Acid Arab & Boshoco
Das Pariser Electronic-Music-Kollektiv Acid Arab hat sich in den letzten Jahren mit seinem betörenden Mix aus elektronischer Musik und arabischen Sounds und Vocals einen Namen in der europäischen Festival- und Clubszene gemacht. Gegründet wurde Acid Arab 2012 von den Pariser DJs Guido Minisky und Hervé Carvalho. Der Feinschliff an ihrem Sound kam über die Zusammenarbeit mit Musikern aus ganz Nordafrika und dem Nahen und Mittleren Osten. Geboren wurden sie im transkulturellen Schmelztiegel Paris und ihr Plan war es, einen Platz für die arabische Kultur in der zeitgenössischen elektronischen Musik zu schaffen. Den Boden dafür bereiteten sie mit mehreren EPs bei dem Musiklabel Versatile, auf denen sie mit anderen Künstlern zusammenarbeiteten sowie Remixe und Stücke von Dritten veröffentlichten.
